About Kliskatek

Kliskatek was founded in 2021 in Donostia-San Sebastián by the team behind Farsens — pioneers in battery-free RFID sensor technology since 2007.
Our focus is narrow and deep: we design wireless sensors that operate without batteries, powered entirely by RF energy. This means monitoring devices that last as long as the equipment they’re attached to — no battery changes, no cables, no maintenance.
We serve equipment manufacturers who need to embed sensing capabilities into products designed to last decades. Our core applications include temperature, humidity, pressure and vibration monitoring in sealed, inaccessible or high-voltage environments.
Kliskatek is based at the Donostia-San Sebastián Technology Park and is part of the Basque Country’s deep-tech ecosystem.

Mikel Choperena — CEO
Mikel co-founded Kliskatek after more than 17 years working at Farsens on battery-free RFID sensor technology. His work has spanned RF-powered sensor design, antenna engineering and the productization of passive sensing solutions for industrial customers across the energy, aerospace and cold chain sectors.
